Engagement of Services and Retainer Agreements

The attorney-client relationship is established and confirmed only by mutual acceptance and confirmation by IG Lawyers and such client. We may decline to represent a prospective client for any reason permitted by law, including conflicts of interest or our lack of capacity. Fees, Costs, and Payment Arrangements
Our fees depend on the complexity of your matter, the nature of services rendered, and the time involved. Fees may be charged at an hourly rate, on a flat rate, a contingency basis and/or a monthly/annual retainer. All fees, costs and expenses related to your matter including court costs, filing fees, expert witness fees and other out-of-pocket expenses will be set forth in your engagement letter. Payment is due as set forth in your letter. Fees are payable when due and are subject to interest on overdue accounts, and/or our right to suspend further services. All fee arrangements are negotiable and subject to agreement.

All information or material received by our attorneys and such staff members in the course of our representation is protected under the attorney-client privilege and applicable laws. Scope of Representation and Exclusions

Clients shall timely comply with all verbal and email requests from IG Lawyers for instruction and/or documentation. Failure on the part of Clients to cooperate may result in a suspension or termination of services.
Conflict of Interest Policy
IG Lawyers has high professional and ethical standards regarding conflicts of interest. Before we accept a new client and/or matter from a client, we undertake appropriate and comprehensive conflict searches. If a conflict of interest arises while acting for you, we will advise you as soon as practicable and otherwise act in accordance with our legal and professional obligations, which may involve our withdrawal from acting.
Discontinuation of Services
Any party may terminate the attorney-client relationship at any time, subject to restrictions under applicable law and the terms of the engagement agreement. IG Lawyers may withdraw from representation for various reasons, including, but not limited to, non-payment of fees, failure to cooperate, conflicts of interest or as otherwise permitted by law. In either case, client is responsible for payment of all fees and costs incurred through termination.
